Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Avsar (“Avsar”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use avsar.ai and the Avsar platform (the “Service”). Avsar is an agentic, no-code trading platform for Indian markets, currently offered as invite-only early access. By using the Service you agree to the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. When you sign in, we collect your mobile number (used for one-time-password authentication) and, where you provide them, your name and email address.
- Content you create. Strategies, prompts, backtest configurations, watchlists, and similar inputs you generate while using the Service.
- Usage and device data. How you interact with the Service — pages viewed, features used, approximate device and browser information, and log data — collected directly and through analytics tools.
- Cookies and similar technologies.A session cookie required to keep you signed in, and analytics cookies that help us understand and improve the Service. See “Cookies” below.
We do not collect your broker login credentials. Where you choose to connect a broker for live execution, the connection is handled through that broker's authorised mechanism.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including authenticating you and saving your work.
- To improve and develop features, and to understand how the Service is used.
- To communicate with you about your account, access, and important updates.
- To maintain the security and integrity of the Service and prevent abuse.
- To comply with applicable laws and regulatory obligations.
3. Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) and other applicable laws, on the basis of your consent and for legitimate uses necessary to provide the Service you have requested.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as needed:
- Service providers. Cloud hosting, infrastructure, and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
- Connected brokers.If you choose to link a broker and place live orders, the information necessary to execute and reconcile those orders is exchanged with that broker. The broker's own privacy policy then applies to its processing.
- Legal and regulatory. Where required by law, regulation, legal process, or a governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Avsar, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
5. Cookies
We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you authenticated, and analytics cookies to measure and improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling the session cookie will prevent you from signing in.
6. Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account as described below.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Subject to the DPDP Act, you have the right to access, correct, and request erasure of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. 9. Children
The Service is intended for users who are 18 years or older and legally able to trade in Indian markets. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
